UDDIPAN, a pioneering development NGO based in Bangladesh, has been dedicated to uplifting marginalized communities since 1986. Our guiding principle, “UDDIPAN for Developing Entrepreneurs,” underscores our commitment to fostering economic empowerment through innovative solutions.

In 2018, we expanded our mission by establishing UDDIPAN Argo Limited, focusing on providing high-quality spices and condiments—such as maize, rice, potato, mustard, onion, chili, and coriander etc.—as well as a diverse range of vegetable and field crop seeds to grassroots farmers. Our offerings include over 60 varieties of hybrids and open-pollinated vegetables such as ladies finger, pumpkin, different types of spinach etc. across 18 different crops, positioning UAL Seeds as one of the fastest-growing seed companies in Bangladesh.

Our robust research and development division, situated on 30 acres in Chiraviza, Jaldhaka, Nilphamari, is dedicated to creating hybrid and high-yield varieties that meet both domestic and international market demands. We harness the rich agricultural diversity of Bangladesh by collaborating with 550 organized contract growers, 75% of whom are women, ensuring that our initiatives promote gender equality and empower local communities.

To facilitate our operations, we have established a state-of-the-art central seed processing plant in Sherpur, Bogura, equipped with advanced dehumidified storage facilities. Our seeds are distributed nationwide through our NGO channels and a network of over 130 dealers, ensuring accessibility for farmers across the country.
